Welcome to our wonderful holiday home in the beautiful province of Jämtland, Sweden!

We are an Argentinian–Dutch couple who first met while traveling through New Zealand. After years of exploring some of the world’s most beautiful places together, we eventually settled in Sweden, where we spent several seasons working with sled dogs. Today, we’ve found our own little haven: a charming farmhouse nestled in the heart of Jämtland, just off the renowned Vildmarksvägen.

Our farm sits next to the holiday cottage and is home to sheep, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and a sweet—albeit strong-willed—husky. We embrace a self-sufficient lifestyle, growing our own vegetables during the summer months, collecting fresh eggs daily, and producing our own sausages, burgers, and cold cuts from our home-raised livestock.

This is a place of peace, simplicity, and connection to nature. Quiet forest trails and winding country roads invite hiking and cycling, while nearby lakes provide excellent opportunities for kayaking and fishing. In late summer and autumn, the surrounding woods come alive with wild berries and mushrooms. During winter, the area offers cross-country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and dog sledding.

Surrounded by the pristine beauty of the northern wilderness, our location is also perfect for witnessing the magic of the Northern Lights. With a bit of luck, you may even spot some of the region’s native wildlife.
